Great Prizes and a Great Cause! Raffle tickets for the Fourth of July Committee’s Mother’s Day Raffle Basket are now available. Contact a committee member for information. This annual fundraising effort has become quite popular over the past several years. Items in this year’s basket include: a $50 gift card from Lucia’s Tavola; hot stone pedicure donated by Spa and Polish; shampoo, cut and blow-dry donated by Headquarters; several exquisite jewelry items, and more to come. Tickets will also be available at Town Hall all day on Tuesday, April 30, with the winning ticket drawn the week prior to Mother’s Day.
All volunteers and all ideas are welcomed and needed!
Mission
The 4th of July Committee is responsible for raising money to fund the Town's annual Fourth of July Celebration, which held on the Saturday closest to July 4th. The event includes the Main Street parade, entertainment, food booths, craft vendors, and children's activities at Pirone Park , and fireworks at dusk. Each year, the committee welcomes new volunteers to assist in all aspects of the celebration. Meeting dates and times will be posted in the Town Hall as well as in the local newspaper.
