Mission
The Communications Committee was formed in July 1998. The Committee is charged with improving communications between Town government and the residents of Ayer, increasing resident participation at Town Meeting, and in the overall governing of the Town.

The Communications Committee in conjunction with APAC, also produces the Candidates Forum. The forum provides an opportunity for Candidates running for town offices or committee’s to answer question form public and express their views. The Forum is video taped in front of a live audience for broadcast on Comcast Ch. 8.
The committee produces a Volunteer Fair, which is held each September in Town Hall. The fair is a great way for people who are thinking about (or are already) volunteering and want to know what is available and what skills are needed.
