Announcements
The Transfer Station will be closed on Wed, June 30, 2010 in order to make the transition to Zero-Sort Recycling. This one day closing will allow the staff to orchestrate the pickup and permanent removal the existing containers (by the respective vendors) while managing the successful installation of the new compactor for the single-stream program. Thank you for your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience.

You may get your vehicle sticker either at the DPW during normal business hours or you can mail a copy of your vehicle registration, along with a check and a self addressed stamped envelope to the DPW (address to the left). They will mail you your new sticker. The DPW can not mail bag tags.

Vehicle stickers & bag tags

Transfer Station Permit: $60.00
Second Permit: $10.00
Senior Citizens: $35.00
Bag Tags (sold in lots of 10 only): $15.00
Bulk Item Tags: $5.00


Bulk items

A valid transfer station sticker is required. Bulk item permit tags must be affixed prior to disposal at the transfer station.

WASHERS/DRYERS $15.00 (each)
WATER HEATERS $15.00

Bag Tags ($15.00 for ten) and Bulk Item Tags can be purchased at the DPW office during regular business hours.

Additional bag tags cost $1.50 each and are sold in lots of 10 for $15.00 each. Bag Tags and Bulk Item Tags can also be purchased at Kelley's Hallmark store, 61 Main Street, 9:00 - 6:00 Monday-Friday and 9:00 - 5:00 Saturday.
