Early Voting Period

Monday, October 22nd – Friday November 2nd

The upcoming General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018. The last day to register to vote to participate in this election, if you haven’t already, is Wednesday, October 17th until 8pm.

In addition to Absentee Ballots, Early Voting will be offered to all voters. Early Voting was first made available during the two weeks leading up to the Presidential Election in November 2016 and was successful in affording additional opportunities for voters to participate.

The early voting period for the upcoming November 6th 2018 election will begin on October 22th and continue through November 2th, 2018 in all Massachusetts cities and towns.

Early voting can be done in person or by mail. For the voter’s convenience, normal business hours have been extended to include some evening and Saturday, October 27, early voting hours.

To further help our voters we have compiled our voting hours and locations into a reference guide for the area. Please take advantage of this Early Voting opportunity and contact Susan Copeland, Ayer Town Clerk at 978-772-8215 with any questions.
