Pond Treatment Schedule

NOTICE

Solitude Lake Management has been hired by the Town of Ayer to apply Diquat and Sonar to Sandy Pine Meadow and Flanagan Pond over the next week. There are no swimming, boating or fishing restrictions on either of these labels. They like to restrict water usage until after the completion of treatment so the applicator can treat safely and efficiently.

The restrictions are as follows:

Swimming, boating, fishing - No Restrictions
DIRECT drinking  - 3 days
Livestock watering - 1 day
Irrigation - 30 days or until further notice

Sandy Pond is scheduled for treatment Friday Morning, July 26, and Flanagan Pond and Pine Meadow Pond for Tuesday, July 30.
