The purpose of this document is to request a quote from qualified organizations capable of providing Fully Insured/ Guaranteed Premium Costs for the Medical Coverage Plan covering both Active and Retired Employees of the Town of Ayer. Retirees are defined as both pre and post Medicare eligible age as well as those who have not entered into the social security system.

It is important to note that any quotes received must duplicate the current offering of the Town; any deviation must be so noted, and a statement of actuarial equivalency provided.

The Town of Ayer (the Town) reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and not award a contract, if deemed in the best interest of the Town. The Board of Selectmen is the awarding authority and is responsible for awarding the contract.
