Downtown Ayer WALK-PLAN Design Tour #2 - August 11

As part of our Town of Ayer Master Plan Process, the 1st Downtown Ayer “WALK-PLAN” Design Tour last Thursday evening was a great local success and experience for the 35+ designer/tourists  who joined in!

Our 2nd Ayer Public Design Tour will be really interesting and sure to be the “Talk of the Town”; on Thursday evening, August 11th from 6:00PM-7:30PM we will Tour along the “Park Street Corridor”.

Are the commercial & residential buildings along the Park Street Corridor part of the living fabric of Downtown Ayer?

Do the commercial & residential buildings along the Park Street Corridor relate differently to the street and to each other, as compared to the traditional Downtown Ayer District?

Is Ayer’s Park Street recognized as a “Great New England Street”?

Can Park Street be designed and developed to function as a great street for pedestrians, cyclists, wheelchair-users, as well as auto-motorists?

Should it be?

Let’s join together, get out of the meeting rooms, hit the streets, and Plan the future of Ayer’s “Great Streets”.
