Recycle Your Reusables 2018

Recycle Your Reusables will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 9am - 2pm. See what will be accepted by looking at the current list of accepted items. It's never too early to start saving Styrofoam, plastic bags, and TONS of other stuff!

If you've attended RYR in the past, we've moved to Bemis Associates in Shirley. Want to volunteer or have questions? Contact RYR is open to everyone. Most items will be accepted at no charge. Donations of cash, checks or non-perishable food for Loaves and Fishes are appreciated. Spread the word!

The Ayer Recycling Committee benefits the community and the environment by supporting the recycling functions of the transfer station and encouraging effective recycling by the community to reduce the quantity of solid waste disposed of by Ayer residents. In addition, the committee seeks to encourage residents to become more educated about the benefits of reducing, reusing and recycling.

Have an hour or so a month to help the environment and serve your town? If so, consider spending that time with the Ayer Recycling Committee. For more information on what we're doing, contact Laurie Sabol (978-496-5839)

Ayer is a member of MassToss, the North Central Regional Solid Waste Cooperative. Among other activities, MassToss holds monthly hazardous waste collections at Devens.
