Full Time Public Safety Communicator
The Ayer Police Department is seeking applications for a Full Time Public Safety Communicator.
Preferred, but not required, candidates will possess EMD, E911 and DCJIS certifications, as well as dispatch and Tri-Tech / IMC CAD software experience. Candidates must complete and pass: an oral interview, comprehensive background investigation, and drug screening. Candidates who are selected must also complete and pass the Department’s Training Program and one year probationary period.
Full Time Public Safety Communicator starting salary after training is $23.25/hr. The Town of Ayer offers a 4/2 schedule, shift differential, education incentive, education reimbursement, 75/25 Health Insurance, three personal days, two weeks’ vacation, as well as other incentives.
