Social Work

Town Social Worker, Brittany Beaudry, is eager to assist residents with social, emotional, and economic needs. Mental health, housing, and financial assistance are a few examples of the issues that can be addressed within this Department.

The Town Social Worker can:

  • Be a liaison between residents and various sources and services, including schools, other Town Departments, doctors, hospitals, mental health agencies, and more.
  • Provide advocacy and support.
  • Refer residents to appropriate services, events, programs, and more.
  • Work in collaboration with other community agencies and Town Departments for the purpose of programming, educating, training, and more.

The Town Social Worker will meet with clients in the office, community, or home setting. Location depends on various factors, such as residents' physical abilities. Meetings are free of charge and available for Ayer residents of all characteristics.

To schedule a meeting with the Town Social Worker, please contact Brittany via phone or email.
