Road Updates

Westford Road Sewer Update – The Town of Groton sewer connection in Ayer is progressing. The contractor should be finished on Nemco Way on Wednesday and will then be working on Westford Road, headed toward Groton. This work is expected to last most of the summer.

Washington Street - National Grid will begin installing a new gas pipe on Washington Street on Tuesday June 6, 2017. The work will done between Nashua Street and the Page Hilltop Elementary School. Work is anticipated to take approximately two to three weeks. There will be traffic control police officers on site during construction. Expect some minor delays and seek alternative routes.   This is not a town project, however National Grid is upgrading their infrastructure so that the DPW can replace the road later this year.”
