Wetlands Bylaw

To the Residents of Ayer,

The Ayer Conservation Commission is in the process of updating our wetlands bylaw to bring before Town Meeting in the Spring of 2017. The Commission believes that we need to protect our wetlands in a manner more specific to the needs and challenges of our Town.

We invite you to be part of the process that will develop this bylaw.

The Conservation Commission will be holding several meetings dedicated solely to this topic, and will be focusing large portions of our otherwise regularly scheduled meetings, during the dates listed. These meetings will be at the Ayer Town Hall, and the Commission is actively seeking your input.

The dates of these meetings are as follows:

• February 13^th
• February 23^rd
• March 9^th

The proposed bylaw will be available on the Commission’s website on January 31^st.

If you cannot attend these meetings, please call the number below, or email, and we will bring your concerns, suggestions, and ideas forward in the next meeting.
