Dog Licenses
Have you purchased your 2024 Dog License yet?
2024 Dog Licenses are available and due by March 1st to avoid the $50.00 late fee! To purchase your annual Dog License, you need to provide proof of current rabies vaccine, proof of spay/neuter (if applicable), and payment of the appropriate fee. Dog Licenses can be requested and paid for online through our website, www.ayer.ma.us/dogs, in person (cash or check only) at the Town Clerk’s office during normal Town Hall business hours, or you can mail paperwork and check or money order to Town Clerk, 1 Main Street, Ayer, MA 01432. Spayed or Neutered dogs are $10.00 and Intact dogs are $15.00. Service dogs and dogs belonging to residents over 70 years old have no licensing fee and are free to register. If purchasing online, please email a copy of the current rabies vaccine paperwork to clerk@ayer.ma.us. All checks should be made payable to the Town of Ayer.
