Administrative Assistant

 

The Town of Ayer Fire Department is seeking to fill the open position of Administrative Assistant. The qualified candidate will work in an office setting answering phones and greeting the public, preparing payroll, bills / warrants.  In addition to standard office equipment the successful applicant must have an in depth knowledge of MS Office suite and the ability to learn specialized software. Prior experience with software from: Tyler Technologies, AmbuPro and TriTech is desirable. Experience in municipal government and/or public safety preferred. The successful candidate must have a high degree of confidentiality and be a highly motivated self-starter. All applicants must pass a CORI check. Position is non-union 30 hours per week with benefits.  Salary range: Grade 8 $21.07 to 26.98 hourly.  Job Description
