EVENT CANCELLED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED So, you think you know Park Street?

Due to today’s extreme heat (95 degrees +) and humidity we have determined to CANCEL & RESCHEDULE this evening’s Park Street “WALK-PLAN” Design Tour.   The temperatures are far too oppressive and could be a danger to personal health and well-being.  A new date for the Park Street Walking Tour will be announced soon.

Join Community & Economic Development Director, Alan Manoian on Thursday, August 11 at 6:00PM for a Walk & Plan!

When was the last time you took a stroll along Park Street and really got a feel for it? Is Park Street (both private property & public property) ready for a better development form, treatment and contextual design?

The best way to answer these provocative questions is to join together (with your designing eyes) and to “WALK & PLAN” along the currently intense, harsh, barren auto-centric strip corridor.

So, here we go!  Come equipped with good walking footwear, water, hats (the sun is intense late in the day), cameras, and your insightful “design sense”. The weather looks great for Thursday evening – let’s get out and design a better Park Street together!
