Groton Street Detour June 18 & 19
The Ayer Department of Public Works will be closing a section of Groton Street between Park Street and the Rail Trail Parking entrance. This is to repair a drain pipe that has collapsed. Work will begin on Monday June 18 and may continue into Tuesday June 19.
Traffic will be detoured from 7 AM to 3 PM. Access to the Rail Trail Parking area will be open from the upper part of Groton Street as describe below. Police details will be on site to direct traffic.
Traffic eastbound will be detoured down Park Street to Main Street and up West Street or Washington Street. The Rail Trail Parking lot will be accessed from the east via Pleasant Street or Pearl Street. Follow the detour signs and drive carefully.
