Motor Vehicle Excise Tax due March 29, 2021

Motor vehicle excise tax bills were mailed February 26, 2021 and have a due date of March 29, 2021. Anyone who had a registered vehicle as of January 1, 2021 should receive a bill for 2021.
Things to Know:
- If you have newly registered a vehicle during the last months of 2020, you should receive a partial bill for 2020 in addition to a bill for 2021.
- If you no longer have the vehicle and would like the bill abated, please contact the Assessors’ office. They can be reached at jguthrie@ayer.ma.us or 978-772-8220 Extension 140
