Pre-lien Notification for Water & Sewer Customers

Every fall the Department of Public Works removes past due balances of water and sewer charges that are six months old or older from the accounts at the D.P.W. and the delinquent amount is added to the resident’s third quarter real estate tax bill.  If this applies to you, please make every effort to pay your past due water and/or sewer bill prior to November 19^th to avoid this lien process, the fee associated with it and the potential interruption of your water service.
