Rat Control & Prevention in the Nashoba Region

Public Health officials have been receiving increased calls regarding rats in different areas of town (Mechanic Street, Union Street, West Main Street, Washington Street, Lawton Street and Pleasant Street).   Some of the main causes of rats include feeding birds, chickens (feed not stored properly) unharvested fruits and nuts, garbage containers.    It is highly suggested that you remove bird feeders if you are in these areas until the problem has been resolved.
