Rotary Tree Planting Plan

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be making stormwater improvements at the Frederick Carlton Circle (the Rotary). The project is part of the MassDOT Impaired Waters Program with the purpose of improving stormwater systems through the installation of Best Management Practices and reducing the pollutant load to Grove Pond through collection and treatment of such stormwater. A vegetated wet basin will be constructed on the Rotary and over 65 new shrubs and trees will be planted. For more information, please contact Mass Highway District 3 508-929-3800.
