Scarecrow Decorating

The Ayer Park Dept. is hoping to decorate our walking path at Pirone Park for fall. We are looking for families to help! We thought it would be fun to decorate the path with scarecrows and a fun family activity for families!

Would you like to help? Here is how it works:

• The Parks Dept will be making the stand for the scarecrows.
• Participants can decorate their scarecrow any way they would like with the provision that the materials can withstand the elements of being outdoors for a month or so.
• Those wishing to participate should contact the Ayer Park Dept. via email at parks@ayer.ma.us to reserve a scarecrow stand. Once decorated they will be returned to the Park Dept. to be put on display at Pirone Park through the month of November.
