Special Election to Fill the Vacancy on the Board of Selectmen

On Tuesday, September 18, 2019 the Ayer Board of Selectmen officially called a Special Election to fill the vacancy on the Board of Selectman to take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

The winner of this Special Election will fill the vacant seat on the Ayer Board of Selectmen with term to expire at the Annual Town Election in 2022.

Please refer to the following schedule of dates leading up to the Special Election on December 3, 2019:

October 10, 2019:  Last day to pull nomination papers from the Town Clerk’s Office

October 15, 2019:  Last day to turn in nomination papers to the Town Clerk’s Office

November 13, 2019 8:00 pm:  Last day to register to vote in the Special Election

December 2, 2019 12:00 pm:  Last day to request an absentee ballot for the Special Election Request an absentee ballot here

December 3, 2019:  Special Election, Polls are Open from 7am to 8pm at Town Hall
