Important Dates to be aware of for the Primary Election:
August 22 - Voter registration deadline (2-4PM and 7-8PM) This is for people who have not registered to vote or wish to change their political affiliation for the State Primary Election.
August 22-28 - Early Voting will be offered in person at the Ayer Town Hall:
Saturday, August 22 9am – 1pm
Sunday, August 23 9am – 1pm
Monday, August 24 8am – 4pm
Tuesday, August 25 8am – 7pm
Wednesday, August 26 8am – 4pm
Thursday, August 27 8am – 4pm
Friday, August 28 8am – 1pm
August 22 - All Voter Registration forms must be returned by 8pm
August 26 5PM – Vote by mail applications but be received by this day This is for people who choose not to vote in person.
August 26 - All mail in ballot applications must be returned by 5pm
August 31 - Deadline to vote Absentee Ballot in person At the Town Clerk’s office by 12 Noon
September 1 - All absentee or early voting ballots must be returned by 8pm to the Ayer Town Hall 1 Main Street Ayer Polling Location
September 1 - Primary Election Ayer Town Hall; 1 Main Street. 7am – 8pm
Polling is held on the 2nd Floor in the Great Hall at Ayer Town Hall 1 Main Street Ayer, MA
