Stony Brook Wastewater Pumping Station

The new Stony Brook Wastewater Pumping Station, located at the end of New England Way was recently  completed. This station replaces an aging and unreliable station that was constructed as part of the original industrial park and is the third largest wastewater pumping station in Town. Construction challenges included proximity to the railroad tracks, wetlands and keeping the existing station on operation during construction.

The project was funded through the wastewater user rates and approved by the Town Meeting voters.
