Volunteer Opportunity - Board of Health

The Town of Ayer is seeking applications for appointment to fill a vacancy on the Ayer Board of Health. The appointed Board of Health Member will fill a vacancy due to a resignation until the next Town of Ayer local election on May 11, 2021. Applicants must be residents of the Town of Ayer and at least 18 years of age. The Ayer Board of Health is a three-member elected Town board with the Nashoba Associated Boards of Health functioning as the Board's health agent. The Board of Health implements and oversees the policies and regulations as mandated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Department of Environmental Protection. The Ayer Board of Health regularly meets twice a month in the evening.

November  20, 2020.  Applicants for the position will be interviewed and appointed by a Joint Meeting consisting of the Ayer Select Board and the Ayer Board of Health.
