Washington Street Paving

The Ayer DPW will be repaving Washington Street from just before Moore Drive up to Howard Street. They will be “milling” the existing pavement beginning on Monday, August 14, 2017  and expect to be doing this work Monday and Tuesday. We will not be closing the road but there will be delays. After the milling is complete, the road surface will be rough and the manholes and catch basins will be raised about 1 ½ inches. Police details will be on site to direct traffic. Final paving will be done in two to three weeks. The project will also include new sidewalks and asphalt berms.
