This meeting/hearing of the Ayer Community & Economic Development Department will be held in-person at the location provided on this notice.  Members of the public are welcome to attend this in-person meeting. Please note that while an option for remote attendance and/or participation via Zoom is being provided as a courtesy to the public the meeting/hearing will not be suspended or terminated if technological problems interrupt the virtual broadcast, unless otherwise required by law.  This meeting will be live on Zoom.  The public may access the proceedings by joining Zoom (Meeting ID# (857 5176 3760) or by calling (929-205-6099).  For additional information about remote participation, please contact Alicia Hersey, Community Development Program Manager at ahersey@ayer.ma.us or 978-772-8220 ext. 142 prior to the meeting.


The Town of Ayer, through its Office of Community & Economic Development will hold a hybrid public hearing on Thursday January 18, 2024, at 6:30 PM. The purpose of the Hearing is to provide an opportunity for residents of the Town of Ayer to discuss the proposed Federal FY 2024 Grant Application to the US Dept. of HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Under the FY24 Community Development Fund grant proposal, the Town of Ayer intends to seek funding for Ayer’s Housing Rehabilitation Program.

Comments can be made at the public hearing or prior to the hearing by contacting the Ayer Office of Community & Economic Development in writing or in person at 1 Main Street, Ayer, MA  01432 and/or email at ahersey@ayer.ma.us or call 978-772-8220 ext.142. The Town encourages a broad spectrum of participation by residents and other interested parties to better understand and serve the needs of the community. The hearing location is accessible to persons with physical disabilities.
