2024 Holiday Posting Schedule

Per guidance from the Attorney General’s Office, the “best practice is not to hold public meetings on Sundays or holidays when access to public buildings may be limited and when the public does not normally anticipate the scheduling of a public meeting.” (www.mass.gov Frequently Asked Questions on the Open Meeting Law).

The Open Meeting Law explicitly excludes legal holidays from the 48-hour calculation for postings of meeting notices (MGL 30A §20 (b)).
