Dog Licenses Now Available & Due Before March 1, 2024
All dogs six months and older are required to be licensed every calendar year. To purchase an Ayer dog license, the following is needed:
- A completed dog license application form
- Proof of a current rabies certificate
- Proof of dog being neutered or spayed, if applicable
- Payment of the applicable fee (2023 Fee Schedule)
- A $50.00 late payment fee applies to the issuance of an Ayer dog license after March 1, 2024.
- Dog Tags can be obtained in office of the Town Clerk, printing a form from our website and mailing in, or requesting and paying online
- Fees for residents over the age of 70 are waived per Town Meeting vote on 10/24/2016.
- Dog Tags are due by March 1, 2024 to avoid the $50 late fee!
