Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, in accordance with Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law (OML), public bodies otherwise governed by the OML are temporarily relieved from the requirement that meetings be held in public places, open and physically accessible to the public, so long as measures are taken to ensure public access to the bodies’ deliberations “through adequate, alternative means.”  This meeting will be live on Zoom.  The public may participate remotely by joining Zoom (Meeting ID# 880 9915 1478) or by calling 301-715-8592.  For additional information about remote participation, please contact Heather Hampson, Administrative Coordinator at hhampson@ayer.ma.us or 978-772-8220 ext. 145 prior to the meeting.

In accordance with the provisions of MGL, Ch. 140 Section 32B, the Ayer Board of Health will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on June 6, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the First Floor Meeting Room of the Ayer Town Hall, 1 Main Street, for the purpose of conducting a hearing for the motel license for Mimi’s Place, LLC, 96 East Main Street, Ayer, Massachusetts. The Board will hear evidence and testimony from interested parties, including from member of the public, and will decide whether to issue said license.

Please note that while an option for remote attendance and/or participation via Zoom is being provided as a courtesy to the public.
