The Ayer Senior Center offers transportation for Ayer residents aged 60 and older, as well as those who are disabled of any age.
The van can take you to medical appointments, shopping, errands like the hairdresser, post office, or bank, out to lunch, or to a friend's house to visit. The schedule of destinations is:

4th Tuesday: Highland Commons (Hudson/Berlin line): Market Basket, BJs, TJ Maxx, Lowe’s, Cabelas, Michaels, Bed Bath & Beyond, Petsmart, and more.

Charges are $1.00 per stop in Ayer and $2.00 per stop out of Ayer.
