ADVERTISEMENT TO BID TOWN OF AYER, MASSACHUSETTS FY21 STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS 21DPW12

The Town of Ayer DPW is seeking bids for the "FY21 Stormwater Improvements" project. Sealed Bids for the General Contract will be received from General Contractors for construction of the FY21 Stormwater Improvements at the Ayer Department of Public Works Office, 25 Brook Street, Ayer, MA 01432 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday April 28, 2021 and at that time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Per the Governor’s declared state of emergency to support the Commonwealth’s response to the coronavirus, the bid opening will be closed to the public and live streamed. The work involves stormwater improvements including, but not limited to, Right-of-Way bioswale installation, cross-culvert replacement, catch basin and stormwater treatment unit installation, outlet improvements, SiltPrison installation, rain garden installation, and associated improvements.

The time for completion of this contract is 60 calendar days. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders.
