The Town of Ayer is accepting quotes for tree maintenance in the Town of Ayer.

The work is generally described as removal and pruning of trees along the public ways and the public properties of the Town of Ayer.

Quotes must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM, Thursday April 18th, 2024 to the Ayer DPW Director via email at dvanschalkwyk@ayer.ma.us.

This project is being procured in accordance with MGL c30 s39M. Responses shall be included on the Quote Form included.

Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.  It is the responsibility of the contractor, before quote submission, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Prevailing Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities.
