The Towns of Ayer, Devens, Harvard and Shirley (OWNERS) will accept SEALED BIDS for 19DPW13 Road Paving and Treatment - 2019 through 2021.


Specifications will be available on the Town of Ayer Website and at the DPW Superintendents' office, Ayer Department of Public Works, at 25 Brook Street in Ayer (978-772-8240) on April 16, 2019 between the hours of 7:30 ain and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Bidders requesting Contract Documents by mail shall include a non-refundable check payable to the Town of Ayer in the amount of $15 per set to cover costs of handling and mailing.

SEALED BIDS, clearly marked, will be received in the office of the DPW Superintendent, 25 Brook Street, Ayer, MA 01432, any time prior to Friday May 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The work involves the road pavement work to be funded under the MassDOT Chapter 90 program. The work will be in contracted and executed separately in Ayer, Devens, Harvard and Shirley. Work will include Asphalt Cold Planing, Bituminous Concrete Paving, Pavement Reclaiming and Grading, Reinforced Crack Sealing, Treated Stone Seal, Rubberized Chip Seal, Line Painting, Curbing, Sidewalks and other pavement related work.
