ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Towns of Ayer, Devens, Harvard and Shirley (OWNERS) will accept SEALED BIDS for 22DPW07 Road Paving and Treatment – 2022 through 2024.

SEALED BIDS, clearly marked, will be received in the office of the DPW Director, 25 Brook Street, Ayer, MA  01432, any time prior to Friday April 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bid opening will be in-person.

The work involves the road pavement work to be funded under the MassDOT Chapter 90 program. The work will be contracted and executed separately in Ayer, Devens, Harvard and Shirley. Work will include Asphalt Cold Planing, Bituminous Concrete Paving, Pavement Reclaiming and Grading, Reinforced Crack Sealing, Treated Stone Seal, Rubberized Chip Seal, Line Painting, Curbing, Sidewalks and other pavement related work.

Contractors must be prequalified by MassDOT, Highway Division in the specified class of work in accordance with 720 CMR 5.00, Prequalification of Contractors by MassDOT.
