WESTFORD ROAD SEWER REPLACEMENT
The Town of Ayer DPW is seeking bids for the "Westford Road Sewer Replacement" project.
Sealed Bids for the General Contract will be received from General Contractors for construction of the Westford Road Sewer Replacement at the Ayer Department of Public Works Office, 25 Brook Street, Ayer, MA 01432 until Wednesday, June 9th, 2021 2:00 PM to the Ayer DPW Drop Box located at the DPW Administrative building at 25 Brook Street and at that time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Per the Governor’s declared state of emergency to support the Commonwealth’s response to the coronavirus, the bid opening will be closed to the public and live streamed. The work includes the installation of approximately 250-feet of sewer main, 2 sewer manholes, approximately 20-feet of sewer force main, and removal of approximately 267-feet of asbestos cement sewer main. The time for completion of this contract is 30 calendar days.
The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
