WRIGHT ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

The Town of Ayer DPW is seeking bids for the "Wright Road Water Main Replacement" project. 

Sealed Bids for the General Contract will be received from General Contractors for construction of the Wright Road Water Main Replacement at the Ayer Department of Public Works Office, 25 Brook Street, Ayer, MA 01432 until Thursday, March 4th, 2021 2:00 PM to the Ayer DPW Drop Box located at the DPW Administrative building at 25 Brook Street and at that time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Per the Governor’s declared state of emergency to support the Commonwealth’s response to the coronavirus, the bid opening will be closed to the public and live streamed. The work involves the installation of approximately 1,250 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron (DI) water main in Wright Road from Snake Hill Road to approximately 200 feet east of Sedgeway. The work includes the replacement of water main appurtenances, hydrant assemblies, house service connections, and interconnections with other streets within the limits of work. The time for completion of this contract is 100 calendar days. 

The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M.  Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders.
