AYER WEST MAIN ST. PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT

Sealed bids for construction of the Ayer West Main St. Public Infrastructure Project for the Town of Ayer, Massachusetts, will be received at the Ayer Department of Public Works Office, 25 Brook Street, Ayer, Massachusetts, 01432 until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on September 23, 2021 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The scope of work includes reconstruction of water main, new ADA compliant sidewalk system, shared use path between Verbeck Gate and Grant Road, improved roadway storm-water collection/management system, curbing, re-alignment of the Devens Verbeck Gate Intersection, construction of a Devens Regional Bus Shuttle Waiting Station, and other road related improvements. The work includes the replacement of water mains and appurtenances, hydrant assemblies, house service connections, and interconnections with other streets within the limits of work. The road related improvements include reclaimed road repaving with on-street parking and bicycle lanes. The contract duration is 240 consecutive days.
